Green Valley’s city parks and recreational facilities are renowned for their extensive list of activities and amenities. The Desert Hills Recreation facility offers hundreds of special interest classes including painting, ceramics, clay and sculpture, lapidary, Spanish and jewelry making to name but a few. Health care is provided by Green Valley’s several medical clinics, the oncology center, the facility for memory disorders, or the nearby Tucson hospitals. The University of Arizona in Tucson is also only 30 miles away. For travel, Desert Hills residents are a short 20-minute drive from the Tucson International Airport.
